Born in Dundee, Marion believes in fate, which is just as well given the many unexpected twists and turns her life has taken.  Now retired, her working life was rich and varied, including teaching in Jeddah, tutoring in the University of Dundee Medical School and managing a medical practice.

She followed her husband around for many years and is still actively involved in childcare for a third generation of children.  Extending her writing output to children’s books for Ben and Maddie has been a recent joyful development.

Despite an ability to chat to anyone, Marion is by nature an introvert, enjoying living in the Perthshire countryside, walking, reading, yoga, researching family history and travelling abroad for winter sun.

One of her own attachments is to Elvis Presley.  The day she spent at Graceland was a dream fulfilled.
